Each piece of glass is held in place by an aluminum frame, which was individually engineered and fabricated. Crews installed four-foot by nine-foot glass panels to create the ellipse.

The elliptical-shaped curtain wall slats at an eight-degree angle to the west. Morongo's most visible feature is the slated curtain wall that caps off the hotel tower.

The steel-framed porte cochere is shaped like a giant flower petal representating the forces of nature. The facility has a number of one-of-a-kind design features that add to its complexity including the resort's signature steel-framed entrance and the hotel tower's glass-enclosed two-story penthouse. Also constructed was a parking garage for 1,780 cars and surface parking for 3,000 cars on Morongo's 44-acre site. Adjacent to the casino is an oasis complex with six luxury casitas and private pools, beach entry pool, lazy river, Jacuzzis, and a wade pool. This design-assist construction contract encompassed 680,000 square feet and included a 27-story hotel tower containing 304 rooms with a two-story glass rooftop penthouse shell space for a lounge and restaurant, 413,000 square feet of low-rise with a 113,000-square-foot themed casino, meeting space, spa, cafe, buffet, nightclub, steakhouse restaurant, food court, and back-of-house space.
